We are the data controller for the information you leave through this website.

What data we collect, and why

We never ask for more than we need in order to answer or help you.

The contact form

Your name, e-mail address, telephone number, company name and your message. We use these to answer your question and, if a collaboration follows from it, to prepare a quotation. The enquiry arrives as a lead in our own CRM.

Booking an appointment

Your name, e-mail address, telephone number and the time you chose. We use these to confirm the appointment, put it in our calendar and, where useful, remind you of it.

Submitting a support ticket

Your name, e-mail address, the description of your question and any attachments you add yourself. We use these to solve the problem and to document the follow-up.

Applying for a job

Your name, contact details, CV and motivation. We use these solely to assess your application.

Visit data

Our server records technical data such as your IP address, your browser type and the page requested. This happens to keep the website running, to secure it and to be able to investigate faults.

On what legal basis

For contact enquiries, appointments and job applications we process your data because you ask us to, with a possible agreement in view. For support this happens in performance of the agreement we have with you. For the technical logs and the security of the site we rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the service reliable.

How long we keep it

No longer than is needed for the purpose we received it for. Enquiries that do not lead to a collaboration are deleted within two years. Job applications are kept for at most one year after the procedure ends, unless you ask us to keep them longer. Accounting records are kept for seven years, as the law requires.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data and we do not pass it on for the commercial purposes of third parties.

This website and our business system run on Odoo, hosted by Odoo S.A. on servers within the European Union. Odoo acts as a processor and may only use your data to provide that hosting. We also use the usual suppliers for e-mail and telephony. Government bodies or judicial authorities are given access only where the law obliges us to.

Cookies

We place the cookies needed to make the website work, for instance to remember your language choice and your session. You cannot refuse these without the site ceasing to work.

If we also use cookies to measure visits, we ask your consent for that in advance through the cookie bar, and you can revisit that choice at any time. The details are in our cookie policy.

Your rights

You have the right to know what data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to have the processing restricted, to object, and to receive your data in a readable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can always withdraw it.

Send a question or a request to hello@gallop.be. We reply within thirty days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can turn to the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels.

Changes

If anything changes in how we handle your data, we update this policy and change the date at the top. For a significant change we notify the people it directly affects.
